Independent Lit. Circle Book Choice

I'm choosing to read the book "The Lovely Bones" by Alice Sebold. I first heard about it from my older sister, Rachel. She read it when she was about my age and loved it. Also, people are saying the movie is really good, and I would like to read the book before I see the movie. That is why I want to read this novel.
